I Love The West

One thing I'm really liking out here is that lack of silly rules. We have gone to a couple parks in our area and went swimming. Back in Virginia, there were always a long list of very restrictive rules. No floats, no running, no goofing, no diving, no jumping except in the designated area. I even got yelled it once for using a pink ball. I'm serious. The lifeguard told me that pink balls were not permitted due to some lifegaurd signals.

Out here, use floats, run and dive, bring your dog, swim with your dog, and yes, use balls of any color.

Amazon SQS

Finally pushed out the product (web service) I have been working on. It allows one service to send messages to a queue and retrieve them from another service. Great for any app that generates a list of tasks that are too complicated and not needed at the moment. Those tasks may be placed in the queue and retrieved later. Here is the link.... http://aws.amazon.com/sqsLink
